So sorry...

Wow I didn't realize how long it's been since I last posted something. Another great weekend behind us now. I went back to work at the salon on Saturday for prom. I had tons of fun however I don't miss working there. I miss doing hair, but not there. I got to see some of my old clients which was nice. Then we had Katie and Dan and their daughter over for some dinner that night. I felt bad I didn't do much more for dinner than burgers on the grill but I was so focused on prom and getting me and Cole out the door and what not on time that I didn't focus so much on dinner. But was still pretty tasty and nice to just hangout. Then yesterday (Sunday) we went to run some errands and then going to get home to spend the day outside. But we ended up going out on Lake George with Mike's parents for a nice boat ride and a little fishing! Cole was such a trooper. I put sunscreen on his face, his shades, a hat, and a life jacket. Poor kid, but it's all for the better and hello he's only 6 wks old, don't want to burn that little skin of his. Over protective, one may think, but I don't. But we had a blast and I caught 3 sunny fish!!! I was the only one that caught something. I was pretty happy :)

So I have turned to a old client of mine to help me lose this baby weight. I'm doing pretty good. I have had a couple "bad" days though. So my goald this week is to have a good day every day with what I eat. Next weekend might be hard being at my parents but I HAVE to get rid of this last little bit. I bought myself a new swimsuit yesterday and that is another piece to really motivate me. It's super cute and I need to look super cute in it to prove these people wrong! But it's getting easier to make better choices knowing that I have to "check in" with someone. Makes me not grab that cookie on the table there screaming my name! I have also gotten back into running. It feels so good!!!!

Like I mentioned above we are going to my parents house this weekend!!! WHOOHOO!! It's been since Christmas since we have been home and even longer since I've seen my family, because of the snow storm at Christmas they didn't make it. So I'm super pumped to see everyone and for everyone to meet Cole! I hope he does good in the car ride up there and I have a feeling he will get a little thrown off schedule. Oh well...it will be worth it.
